Hi Emma! How are you?
Hi Cosmo! I’m doing great.
Can you tell us a little about yourself? What keeps you busy these days?
Work is keeping me busy, but a good kind of busy.
We bet your current schedule is packed between your upcoming Netflix movie, Family Leave, the next season of Wednesday. That’s exciting! How do you maintain to stay fit and healthy from day to day amidst a busy schedule?
I take lots and lots of supplements and I also walk a lot when I have the time. I also try to keep up my regular workout routine, but I have been a little lazy with it lately.
What is your favorite thing to do in your leisure time/how do you relax at the end of the day?
I love reading and listening to music. I normally listen to my 15 hour instrumental playlist to relax at the end of the day.
Let’s talk about your career. Do you always know that you wanted to become an actor?
Always! I grew up knowing that’s what I wanted to do. It was my Plan A.
Where did you learn about acting?
I never really “learned” about it, I just watched a lot of films and a lot of good actors. I just always wanted to do it.

What was your biggest obstacle when you did your first [acting] gig?
My first acting gig was a short film I did when I was 6 years old. I was really little, so I don’t remember any obstacles. I only remember having fun.
What is your biggest desire in project? And what kind of film/television projects do you ultimately want to create?
I want to do a project that I am proud of and that makes me happy. Maybe a motion capture project would be fun.
What is the best advice about building a career in the entertainment industry that you’ve received?
Audition and throw your sides away. If you keep thinking about your auditions it just ruins your day.
As an actor, you are known – and loved – not just by your fans in the US and here in Indonesia, but also your fans in so many countries. How does it feel to have so many fans right now?
It feels very overwhelming – sometimes in a good way and sometimes in a bad way. I’m very grateful for everyone liking the show. I’m still trying to get used to it.
Your popularity keeps growing each day. How do you see it? Does it make your job more fun or does it make you feel a little more pressured?
I try not to let it pressure me, but it is kind of weird knowing that a lot of people have expectations of me.
Let’s talk about your character in Wednesday, Enid Sinclair. How did you learn to embody this character into you?
Enid comes very easy to me, so it wasn’t too difficult trying to figure her character out. I was really just focused on my body language while filming and making sure I had a lot of energy.

What is the biggest challenge that you encountered during the creative process for Enid?
This was the longest I played a character, so I had to make sure I brought new energy each scene so that it didn’t seem redundant.
How alike are you and Enid in terms of your traits? As Cosmo can see in your social media (Instagram), you are a cheerful and lively person! What is the best thing that you can learn from Enid?
We really aren’t anything alike aside from the fact that we are both optimistic. I think people can learn to be optimistic from her.
Let’s talk about something else. Many are wondering what your daily life looks like. Can you give us a little glimpse of your daily routine on an average day?
When I am not working, my days look like everyone else’s. I’ll read and drink lots of tea, hang out with my sisters, and go take a walk or a hike.
You look SO into traveling in your social media (Instagram). What can you say about this traveling hobby of yours?
I love traveling, but it’s not really a hobby. I’m just really fortunate to get to travel around with my family. I love experiencing different countries and cultures.
Where is your favorite travel destination so far? And where is your ultimate traveling destination in the world?
Iceland and Costa Rica have been my favorite places so far! Ireland is up there too. I want to go to New Zealand before I kick the bucket.

You are also a K-Pop fan! What do you love most about K-pop?
K-pop tends to have fleshed out comeback concepts, which is really fun. I was a dancer so I really appreciate the dance aspect of the industry.
What are some little things in life that make you happy?
My cats and fun little drinks.
Can you tell us one thing that people might not know about you (yet)?
Maybe people don’t know I’m Greek? I don’t look it, but I am.
What are you most proud of from your personal growth this far?
I’m just proud I’ve been able to stay true to myself.
Last one, would you leave a little message to your fans in Indonesia?
Thank you so much for all the support! I hope to one day come and meet you all!
